• Location data: With your permission, we access your device location to find trips near you. This data is sent to our servers to perform searches and is not stored beyond the request.
• Search queries: Your trip search parameters (city, trip type, duration) are sent to our servers to return results. These are not linked to your identity.
• Purchase information: Subscription status is managed by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive entitlement status but do not process or store payment details.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not require account creation or login.
• We do not collect your name, email, or personal identifiers.
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Local Storage

Saved trips and edit credit usage are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

• Apple MapKit: Used for location search and map display. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Used for subscription management. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

We do not retain personal data on our servers. Search requests are processed in real time and not logged with identifiable information.

6. Children's Privacy

DayTrip is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
